How it works?
The IPL Hair Removal Technology we use at our CosMedocs Spa are made with comfort in mind. Each pulse of light feels like a slight sting or pinch, similar to a the snap of a rubber band. Highly controlled flashes of light are selectively absorbed by hair follicles lying below the surface of the skin. The absorbed light heats the hair, which damages or disable s the follicles without affective the surrounding tissue. Most clients find the treatment comfortable due to the hand piece's sophisticated cooling system to ensure maximum effectiveness and minimum discomfort. Our methods are proven and safe. Treatment times depend highly on the area being treated, some areas can take upto 30 minutes others can be as quick as 10.

Will I need more than one session?

The numbe r of treatments required depends on the individuals hair growth. On average hair should expect to be treated between 6-8 times for complete removal, however you will experience hair reduction from the first session. The reason for this is that a hair folleci can only be damaged when in the growing stage. As hair grows in cycles, amond all the hair visiable, only a certain percentage is in the growing stage while there are many hair follicles in the dormant stage.

Therefore your specific treatment plan will be made to treat the hair in that area at the best growth cycles.
